Session 7 of the 2018/2019 season: Mt Holly, Day after Christmas Holiday

Gray warm day, fresh soft groomers. Hero snowboard conditions.
Eventually after 2 hours the warmed groomers got chopped up and the crowds were in full force.
Short but decent day just as I expected. 

Temperature: 32-35 degrees  
Sky:   Gray overcast
Snow conditions:  Soft, deep groomers

Session 6 of the 2018/2019 season: Nub's Nob - Hard to compare after yesterday's epic day

Colder, less sun and hardpack.
Finally after 2pm the sun got stronger and the surface loosened up.

Session 3 of the 2018/2019 season: Freebie at Pine Knob

Highlights: Free lift ticket and nearly perfectly groomed runs on freshly made snow.
Consistent conditions through out the slopes.
The groomer worked the hill I was on for almost an hour. Practically first tracks every run.
Met up with newbie Rich and Vlad.

Session 2 of the 2018/2019 season: Ice to packed powder on session 2 of the season



Highlights: Today was everything from rock hard ice to packed powder. Breezy, cold and flat light.
It would of been better if temp was above freezing.
Other than that it was fun. Surprised to see it was nearly 100% open.

Session 1 of the 2018/2019 season: As usual Mt Holly starts the season for this snowboarder

Highlights:  First rides of the new season and as usual it's at Mt Holly. One of the earliest starts in several years.
Only 3-4 slopes open but with minimal crowds and the hi-speed chairlift, lift lines was non-existent. 
Craig and I rode for 3 hours and then took a few more laps with John.
It felt good, after a few runs I got my balance sweet spots back and continued where I left off last season.

Session 27 - final session of the 2017/2018 season: Seven Springs Resort




Highlights:  First out of state rides this season.
The excellent spring runs continued until this last session of the season.

Sky:  Some early morning fog and then bluebird conditions  
Snow conditions:    Soft, forgiving groomers
