Session 2 of the 2018/2019 season: Ice to packed powder on session 2 of the season

Highlights: Today was everything from rock hard ice to packed powder. Breezy, cold and flat light.
It would of been better if temp was above freezing.
Other than that it was fun. Surprised to see it was nearly 100% open.

Sky: Thick overcast
Snow conditions:  from rock hard ice to packed powder
Duration:   12:00-2:00

Session 1 of the 2018/2019 season: As usual Mt Holly starts the season for this snowboarder

Highlights:  First rides of the new season and as usual it's at Mt Holly. One of the earliest starts in several years.
Only 3-4 slopes open but with minimal crowds and the hi-speed chairlift, lift lines was non-existent.
Craig and I rode for 3 hours and then took a few more laps with John.
It felt good, after a few runs I got my balance sweet spots back and continued where I left off last season.

Temperature: 30ish
Sky: Mostly cloudy
Snow conditions:  Soft, forgiving groomers
Duration:   9:00-12:30
Gear:  8 year old Burton Hero board
Daily vertical:  46 laps almost 11,000 v feet
