Session 6 the 2017-2018 season: Crystal Mt on a Saturday

I normally don't go to Crystal Mt on weekends its just to crowded. But with nothing else going on, (no wind, all the snow has been shoveled) I decided to give it a try.
Got there about 10 o'clock, got and hour and a half in and it was okay not to crowded.
Maybe it was  because of the cold, 0 degrees and slow/sticky conditions.
Big day for the racers 4 courses set up on the steeper terrain.

Highlights: Another morning with some freshies, same slopes as yesterday.
Temperatures:   0 degrees
Sky: almost bluebird
Conditions:   some pow, soft groomers, packed powder
Duration:    1.5 hours
Gear: Burton Hero Board as always
Vertical: 4,646

Session 4 of the 2017-2018 season: It's still the Holiday week with early morning crowds

Crystal Mt Highlights: Arrived early but still the holiday crowd got to the freshies sooner then I did. Found enough pow on the obscured slopes to wet my whistle. Had fun carving them up, this is what it's all about and as a bonus the sun made an appearance.
Temperatures:   9 degrees
Sky: partly cloudy early to snow and flat light
Conditions:  3-5 inches of powder and packed powder over a groomed surface
Duration:   2 hours  from 9:30-11:30
Gear: Burton Hero Board
